Listed are a few of the comments and feedback from patients in their own words who were benefited by care from Ellen. They come from the comment book in the waiting room in the office. There are other comments in the book relating to various conditions that you can have a look at also if you are interested. Initials are used for all names on the website. The pain scale people use is the simple 1-10 to describe their pain level. 1=very low pain level 10= intolerable excruciating pain.

• I had been experiencing severe, constant pain caused by tendonitis in my right elbow for several weeks. I was frustrated because I was not able to attend physical therapy for several weeks and in need of relief. I decided to try Acupuncture. I could barely hold on to a pen to write. I am now writing this without any pain at all. I described my pain level to Ellen as "8" at my first treatment. As I left the office after this treatment I felt as though my pain level was down to a "5". AFter 3 more treatments with my arm at rest I have no pain and only a small amount of pain when using it. I also am very grateful to Ellen and the science of Acupuncture for helping me.

• When I arrived at Ellen O'Rourke's office for my first Acupuncture treatment I was in severe pain in my neck (Rheumatoid Arthritis in neck) lower back, knee and feet due to arthritis. After a total of 8 treatments I now walk without a cane 2 miles a day. The level of pain when I first arrived was around "8 or 9". Now it is around 2. She is sensitive to other people's pain and discomfort; she knows exactly which spots to treat, she's friendly and she makes you feel at ease.
  I'm wondering, though, why she wasn't suggested to us the first accident, instead of Dr._? Don't get me wrong- Dr. _ is a good man, but, he doesn't seem to be able to "feel" the pain for others like Ellen does. She knows exactly how we feel, and her treatments are wonderful. • I had a problem with hemmorhoids until that day last year. I was hurting and asked my mother if she had anything. She said she had some herbs which Ellen had given her. I said I would try anything once. I was in for a surprise. Because those little pills worked. Now I keep a bottle on hand at all times. I even take some with me if I go on vacation.

• How can I thank you for your kind, caring manner. I had pains in my stomach for six months. After my tests in the hospital, they released me with no specific diagnosis or medication.
