FABULOUS FAMILY SHABBAT / Shir Shabbat Yeladim
Join Peter & Ellen for a ruach-filled Shabbat service for the young members (and their parents) of your congregation! Through upbeat songs, simple prayers and meditations, engaging stories and bibliodramas, and an energetic march with the Torah, your young families will have the opportunity to experience the beauty and magic of Shabbat.
 We will bless each other, we will share our special Shehecheyanu moments with each other, we will say our Sabbath prayers together, we will dance with the Torah and learn from the weekly parshah, we will say a prayer for our friends and loved ones who are in need of healing, and after singing our final song, we will bid each other Shabbat Shalom! It is guaranteed to be a memorable experience for the young children and families in your congregation.
All are invited, regardless of their knowledge of Judaism. In fact, all that
is required is a willingness to "pray" with your child or grandchild and a
desire to celebrate the beauty of the Sabbath. Peter & Ellen's interactive
Shabbat experience will help the young families in your congregation become
familiar with the key points of the Shabbat service, while giving them an
upbeat and thoroughly accessible way to explore Judaism.
